Snack Bites (toddler approved!)

I am OBSESSED with these Snack Bites and this recipe is officially toddler approved (E is saying “more” in this pic)! 🙌🏼 So many awesome nutrients packed into every delicious bite! Peanut Butter ~ amazing healthy fat source (woo hoo brain health!) + awesome source of plant based protein Oats ~ very filling (makes for a yummy breakfast!) + high in fiber (and we all know what that does 💩👍🏼) Flax Meal ~ high in omega-3s which can prevent heart disease, fight anxiety and depression, and are great for brain health Chia Seeds ~ another great fiber source! Dark Chocolate Chips ~ loaded with antioxidants (protects our cells from damage caused by free radicals which according to cancer.gov may lead to heart disease, stroke, cancer, and other diseases of aging)

Snack Bomb Ingredients: 1 C Dry Oatmeal 1/2 C Flaxseed Meal 1/3 C Coconut Flakes (unsweetened) 1/4 C Dark Chocolate Chips 1 Tbsp Chia Seeds 1/2 C Peanut Butter 1/3 C Agave 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract

Directions: Mix all ingredients together. Place in refrigerator for 30min - 1hr. Scoop mix into little balls and store in an air-tight container for up to 1 week! (If you can make them last that long 😉) HAPPY MUNCHING!!

* To lower calories or sugar content, eliminate the chocolate chips and/or coconut flakes >> play with ingredient ratios and find what works for you!! I find these are an AWESOME snack to satisfy a sweet tooth, support a nursing mama, or fill up a hungry toddler!*
